Finding Ways To Transcend Aggression


Lately, I’ve been maneuvering through major obstacles. Some put in place by my own doing and some put in place by others. THATS OK !!

When I skated roller derby for three seasons with the Tampa Bay wfdta league, it became my catalyst for aggression release. My energy field radiates a spiritual fire that at times has become challenging to tame. Roller derby offered me a foundation for exercise, speed, adrenaline, choreography, team relations, how to loose and still feel like a winner!

Now iAM a mother, who works from home. So when I feel upset, or a bit out of control, I do breathing exercises! Keep in mind; this is not your average breathing. It is a rapid breath of FIRE.

I also ground deeply with the Earth elements that live in our garden. They allow me to express my-self without feeling WEIRD OR CRAZY. Just a few weeks back, I channeled my inner grizzly bear, he was pretty upset in this instance tho. In the moment, I ALLOWED his energy to be expressed through bear movements. Standing on four legs and growling, snarling and thrashing the leaves on the ground. My fingers became crusted with dirt, and after this allowed release, I felt calm again. I even took a nap.

It is vital for our wellbeing to ALLOW our emotions to arise. Not escape, but to ARISE. Once these feelings have been energetically expressed, we may feel the intense pressure relax. At least, this is what helps me calm my shadow. What helps you calm yours ????
